Welcome to Starry Tales. These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) govern your use of our mobile app and website (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these T&C. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our Services.
– “App”: Refers to the Starry Tales mobile application.
– “Website”: Refers to the Starry Tales website.
– “User”: Any individual who uses the Services.
– “Content”: All information, text, graphics, videos, and other materials available on the Services.
– “Subscription”: Paid plans providing access to additional features.
The Services are intended for use by adults or minors under the supervision of an adult. By using the Services, you represent that you are either at least 18 years old or using the Services under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep this information up-to-date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to:
– Provide accurate information.
– Comply with all applicable laws.
– Not misuse the Services or post inappropriate content.
– Not infringe on the rights of others.
We offer various subscription plans:
– Free Tier: Unregistered users can generate up to 20 new stories per month and read them as often as they like.
– Free Tier – Registered: Includes all Free Tier benefits plus a personal library, the ability to listen to stories, access to a public library of stories, and the option to buy packages for additional stories.
– Monthly Subscription – Basic: Includes all Free Tier – Registered benefits plus the ability to generate up to 60 stories per month, and access to more detailed personalisation features and educational settings.
– Monthly Subscription – Premium: Includes all Basic subscription benefits plus some other cool Premium features that will be announced soon.
Payments are due at the time of subscription. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods.
All Content on the Services, including personalised stories, is owned by Starry Tales or its licensors. You may use the Content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Content without our express permission.
– User Submissions: By submitting content to the Services, you grant Starry Tales a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media.
– User Responsibilities: You represent and warrant that your submissions do not infringe any third-party rights, are not illegal, and do not contain any offensive or inappropriate material. You waive any claims to compensation for the use of your submissions.
Our app provides personalised stories designed to educate and entertain. While we strive to provide accurate and beneficial content, we do not guarantee any specific educational outcomes. The Content should not be taken as professional advice.
We collect and use personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these T&C. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. You have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, and delete your data.
Our Services may integrate with third-party services or contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or actions of these third parties. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to the terms of those services.
The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Starry Tales is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.
We reserve the right to monitor user activity and manage the Services to ensure compliance with these T&C. We may remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, or take other actions as necessary to maintain the integrity and proper functioning of the Services.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Services at any time without notice. Users agree that we are not liable for any interruptions or changes to the Services and acknowledge that they may not be able to access the Services during periods of modification or interruption.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
These T&C are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising from these T&C or the use of the Services will be resolved through binding arbitration in Romania, except where prohibited by law.
We reserve the right to modify these T&C at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the revised T&C on the Website or App. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new T&C.

– Entire Agreement: These T&C constitute the entire agreement between you and Starry Tales regarding the use of the Services.
– Severability: If any provision of these T&C is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
– Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these T&C will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
– Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these T&C without our prior written consent.
We welcome your feedback and suggestions about our Services. By submitting feedback, you grant us the right to use it without any restriction or compensation to you.
